DESCRIPTION:

IEEE 1394 standard was first developed by Apple Computer, Inc and Texas instrument to deliver a high-performance serial bus. IEEE 1394a commonly known as FireWireTM 400 or i.LINKTM in consumer electronics. The IEEE 1394a can transfer digital data of 400 Mbps. It also can transfer 8 to 40v of DC power to charge your digital camera, portable hard disk or MP3 players.
